Acronis Backup Archive Explorer - Device Manager entry error

Thread needs solution

I just updated TI 2011 via the "check for updates" button and now the Device Manager entry for Acronis Backup Archive Explorer reports the following:

This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

Is there a fix or is this a leftover from a previous version?

Right click on each both listings and uninstall them both.

Afterwards, restart the downloaded install file and choose the repair option. The repair option will reinstall the same version overtop the existing version.

Log in to your Acronis web-account, navigate to Programs&Downloads and select the program you wish to download. Please check this KB article for more information.
