Lost my access to True Image Support!

Thread needs solution

I have just installed a new SSD (From Crucial) into my PC.  You probably know this but you then get your support from Acronis True Image Crucial.  Having seen the benefits of the new SSD I then went to check on my backup scheme settings as my confirmation emails stopped arriving.

I found that I couldn't edit my backup scheme as the majority of previous setting options were greyed out so they were unavailable.  Following a long chat session with the Acronis TI Crucial advisor, he eventually pressed his ejector seat button and said that Acronis TI Crucial didn't provide support for my issue on backup settings and to contact Acronis TI.

Unfortunately, getting support from the Crucial Team appears to exclude you from contacting the central Acronis support team.  I urgently need to do a backup as the days are going past.  Can anyone suggest how I get support on setting my backup scheme, please?

I'm running Windows 10 Home 64 bit; I did have TI 2021 installed and running and I now have TI Crucial.

Aidan,

See KB 2201: Support for OEM Versions of Acronis Products which applies to all OEM versions of ATI supplied with hardware purchases.

What license for ATI 2021 did you have?  If you have a valid perpetual or subscription license, then uninstall the OEM version and install 2021 again to have full support from Acronis (while the subscription is active or until Acronis release a new version of ATI).

Backup settings are only normally greyed out when the task is already active or queued, at which time there are a minimal set of options including to delete or clone the settings.

Have you created the Acronis Rescue Media for either 2021 or the OEM version from Crucial?  If yes, then you have an option of booting the PC from that media and making a backup in that way.

Beyond the above, then more information is needed to better understand what the issue here is?
