Acronis True Image 2020 Fail to create boot media on Mac Pro Big Sur 11.4
I have the latest Build of Acronis True Image for Mac 24.7.26010 I read the support article for pretty much the same issue in Acronis 2021 titled "67565: Acronis True Image 2021(Mac): Acronis bootable media or Acronis Survival Kit creation fails on Big Sur" I followed these directions and the error message persists.
I am running a 2020 Intel MBP 13" 2Ghz 16GB RAM 1TB Storage.
I am going to assume I will probably need to upgrade to either the 2021 version or 2022 version when it comes out unless someone can help me get past this issue since I read the only way to clone the drive with Windows Bootcamp installed on a Big Sur OS is through the use of the boot media.
See Error log and image of error message your help is appreciated! Bob

I have the same issue in v11.4 with the latest version of TI 2021 v25.8.39229. I opened a support ticket with Acronis. I tried what was suggested in the links above to no avail:
Solution
Close the window with the error and run the operation again. On the second attempt, Acronis bootable media or Acronis Survival Kit should be created without errors.
Yeah, this doesn't work.

Hello supercell29,
thank you for your posting! The issue in your case might be related to some other root cause, we'd suggest to continue investigation with the help of Acronis support team.

We (Acronis and myself) continue to work on this issue. What is interesting is, when I followed the tech's recent advice verbatim:
1. Make sure you have 4 GB (or more) of free space in the USB flash drive /DVD.
2. Format the destination drive manually before creating bootable media :
-Open Disk Utility.
-The list of available drives on the left in Disk Utility window. Choose the external drive you'd like to use for Acronis Bootable Media.
-Click on the Erase option from the four options available in the main window.
-Select the following values for erasing the disk:
Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
Partition scheme: GUID partition map.
-Click Erase to format the drive.
3. Now reboot your machine and Launch Acronis True Image.
4. Attempt to create bootable media:
I receive a progress bar while it is making my flash drive bootable, however, after TI says "8 minutes remaining" the progress bar never moves. I left it running all night to no avail.
What is interesting is when I boot using the flash drive I see the following (see attachment). I'm not sure if this is what I should be seeing, but I know for a fact the flash drive was wiped during the boot image process. So, maybe it is working properly, but the software just doesn't provide the correct information(?)
We shall see.
If anyone knows if the image I provided is what the boot drive should reveal upon bootup please let me know.
Thank you! :)
