Received "The archive is corrupted" during a FULL backup

Thread needs solution

I've been running full backups with verification for awhile now. Had no problems with it until yesterday. As soon as the verify started, TI returned the corrupted error msg. I then reran the backup with the verify like always and everything was fine.

Can someone tell me why the error happened on the first run, but not the second?

I cannot answer your question but if this happened to me, I would immediately check both disks for errors.

Thank you for your suggestion! I'll run CHKDISK and see what happens.

I ran CHKDISK against my Acronis Backups drive and my hard drive. No errors were found on either one. I also checked the event log and nothing there as well. Not sure why this happened, but will keep looking.
