Acronis True Home 2011, Build 6597, causes problems Windows 7 Event Viewer
I only want to back up my C-Drive without scheduling anything. After I upgraded to 2011, I now get message that Operations are running, when I try to log off. As the message did not stop, I had to shut down computer manually. Today, when I looked in Windows 7 Event Viewer, I found lots of messages about some problem (see file). The same happened yesterday. As nothing is scheduled, how can I overcome this problem. I get error message, when I attach file, so I added it here as well. Log Name: Application

I'm getting hundreds of these errors in my event log. I've downloaded the schedmgr and run the task zap several times. I've even downloaded the scheduler461.exe to update the service from http://kb.acronis.com/content/1785. I've restarted the scheduler 2 service without recreating the tasks. I would expect there to be no errors in the event log but I'm still continuing to get errors even though nothing should be setup to be scheduled? What else can I do? I'm running ATIH 2011 version 14.0.0.6696.

Brian,
Try to uninstall ATI 2011, run the Acronis 2011 Cleanup Utility, reboot and reinstall.
What OS are you running?

:( Not looking forward to uninstalling, reinstalling and resetting up the backups.
I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x64. No SP1 yet. I'm planning to install SP1 soon.

You can export the backup settings and reimport them later.

Any resolution to this?
I'm getting similar results with a new install of TIAH 2011 (build 6868) with additional symptom: Event code: 0x00090070+0x000907D2. I also tried the task zap to no avail.
System is up-to-date XP-SP3, with system disk (backup target) & data disk (for the backups).
Thanks... John

Mine was fixed when I uninstalled everything and ran the zap util, then reinstalled everything.
