Очень долго удаляются резервные копии

Thread needs solution

Уже более суток удаляется несколько инкрементных резервных копий с хранилища с дедупликацией. Раньше эта операция занимала несколько минут, сейчас уже сутки длится.

При этом хранилище занято, резервные копии на него не делаются.

Отменить удаление так же не получается.

Что с этим можно сделать?

For analyzing this issue we need that you collect Acronis System Information from the machine with ASN. Please fix the exact date/time of the operation's (deletion) start. Then please upload these resulted logs onto an FTP link that I've sent you in a Private Message.

Дальше ждать уже не стал, перезагрузил сервер, иначе остался бы без бэкапов на выходных.

How long is your backup chain? How many incrementals are on top of each other? Storing for how long?

We make the full backup once per month, differential backup once for a week and incremental backup 4 times per week. I was trying to delete 4 incremental backups maded at 14-17 August 2021

thank you for sharing the logs!

The logs analysis reveled the following error in Acronis Storage Node that can cause this problem:
2021-09-09T09:06:45:897+03:00 5492 E00270004: Error 0x270004: Неизвестная резервная копия "3A54D172-815B-4872-9487-512A2B871E00" в архиве "8DF94D4F-563D-4314-AEC0-ED5D63C37669".

The most probable reason is that it tries to delete the backup (slice) that does not exist anymore. 

In order to fix this issue, the backup location should be rescanned. It can be done using the following way:
1) detach the location from Acronis Storage Node (use delete button). This step should not delete the backups.
2) open the backup location folder and move created FDB file to another location (! this file is created after you detach the vault). If this file is not removed then when the location is added back it will not be rescanned
3) re-add the location back.

(!) Please note that it can take a time to add the vault. Moreover, the add backup location operation can finish with errors (cause the archive contains the unexisting backups). However, the vault will be added.

After that you can check the archive content and try to delete unneeded backups.

If the problem is still there, then I can only recommend contacting Acronis support team for further investigation.
