TrueImage 10 Win 7 32bit Clone

Thread needs solution

I'm trying to clone a windows 7 32 bit drive, the cloning proccesss completes normally but when I try to boot from the cloned drive I am getting the following error.

Windows failed to start

Status: 0xc000000e

Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible.

I tried two different brand new drives and still get the same error.

Are you using TI Home version 10 or TI Home 2010? Version 10 is not compatible with WIN 7.

Michael:

Your clone made with version 10 should work, but version 10 does not automatically correct the Windows 7 BCD. But you can do it manually. Boot the PC from a Windows 7 DVD and try the automatic repair. You may need to run the repair more than once.

I am doing alot of drives , so I do not have the time to run repair on each drive, If I upgrade to 11 will it work properly?

Thank You!

TI 2011 will work with WIN 7. I suggest you read http://forum.acronis.com/forum/3426 section 3CC.
