WinPE Master Image Creator Failing "Unknown Win32 Error"

Thread solved

Hello All -

I am attempting to capture the image of a Dell Latitude 3520 using a 64 bit winPE wrapper with the relevant network and SATA drivers included.

The master image creator is failing with the below error.  Any ideas on what might help here?  We are using the latest (3030) build.

Hello David ,

thank you for your posting! I've checked our internal sources and see that there is an open issue with the symptoms similar to what you describe.  Some of the Acronis Snap Deploy files might be corrupted or missing if the image creator\standalone utility have been created with only Acronis Management Console installed. Please try the following workaround: install Acronis OS Deploy Server before creating WinPE and then re-create the tool. Please let me know if that helps.
If the issue still persists, I'd recommend raising a support ticket for investigation, so that our engineers can look into the situation and help.

Thanks Ekaterina -

That did the trick - when I generated the PE media on the actual server (rather than my personal laptop with just console installed) the error went away.

Appreciate the help!
