Why Acronis keep doing a "backup-0001" version
I bought a new Laptop 2 weeks ago, I got 2 "WD 4TB My Passport Portable External Hard Drive HDD". I installed the Acronis True Image for Western Digital.
I have two backups for the same pc, one HDD at home and one at work.
Both HDD have now a "-0001" version.
Why Acronis did that?. The "-0001" version is almost the same size of the original.
I just want a backup for my laptop with incremental changes of the files.
Thanks.

Hello Steve,
First backup was made on november 5th:
8 days later it made a full backup the name was "original_name"+"-0001"
It is exactly what happned to this guy: https://forum.acronis.com/forum/acronis-true-image-2020-forum/new-full-…

Harold, I am not seeing any issues here based on your settings.
You are creating daily incremental backups followed by a new full backup after your defined number of incrementals.
All the incrementals are stored within the initial backup file for each backup version chain until the set limit is reached, then a new full backup file is created using the same stem name plus the numeric suffix -000?

Harold, what are the Backup scheme settings? If you set up an incremental backup with a new chain after 5 increments, then this behaviour is correct.
