Installation of TI2011 Build 6696 failure.
My installation of TI2011 Build 6696 aborted when starting with the error code #1603. I just don't understand why the company releases buggy software updates without any testing.

Hello Rpz79,
Thank you for posting. I will certainly help you with this installation issue.
According to the .msi log that you kindly provided, the installation fails because of the Acronis Nonstop Backup service. I can suggest the following solution:
1. Reboot your machine.
2. Stop all Acronis services.
3. Try installing the program again.
If it fails, please kindly get back to me with a new .msi log and AcronisInfo report.
Just in case, if you need immediate assistance you can always contact our Support team directly.
Thank you.

Hello Anton,
All Acronis services are manually disabled in my system (my preference).
When I try this command: msiexec /i D:\Users\Roey\Downloads\ATI2011.6696_s_uk.msi /l*v D:\AcronisInstallLog.log ,
I get this message:
Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue. To configure or remove the existing version of this product, use Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel.
Thanks in advance,
Roey

This is the worst software company I've come across for support issues. My problem with installation of ATIH 2011 Bui;d 6696 to support was replied by a Abhishek. From his email quote below ....
post edited
I paid for a software where I can only receive 30 days of FREE technical support and after this period must have the PAY-PER-INCIDENT before I can receive any help. What happens if I have many incidents on the software installation?
I'm throwing this crappy software into my dustbin and turn to a better company which can helps me.

Hello all,
Thank you for posting and providing us with your feedback which I have submitted to our Management team. You can always submit your feedback from this link.
Roey, thank you for getting back to me. Please use ATIH 2011 clean up utility because it appears there is a conflict between some Acronis components which were not installed properly and the ones that are getting installed. You can check this KB article for instructions.
Vincent, I had to edit your post because according to our TOU we cannot publish private communications without the consent of all parties involved. I would like to help you with this installation issue. Would you be kind enough to provide me with these logs?
By the way, for the convenience of our Customers, we have created a sticky thread where you can write about your installation problems and we can respond to them sooner.
Please let me know if you require additional help.
Thank you.

Hello Anton,
Sorry for the late ACK.
The installation is still not working for me , I've downloaded your latest 2010.7160_s_en edition.
Did all the stuff mentioned in kb.acronis.com/content/14871 including the registry checking.
THNX IN ADVANCE
Roey

I've given up on the installation of ATIH2001 despite many 'helps' from the support section. Nothing is working since I upgraded my ATIH2010 to the new version. I've been a faithful user of Acronis products for many years and with this problematic ATIH2011, my view on Acronis products has changed.

Hello Vincent,
Yeah I guess you're right.
These kind of problems shouldn't occur on a respectable software application.
furthermore when it "offered" me the update , so the upgrade process MUST go smooth.

Hello all,
Thank you very much for getting back to me.
Rpz79, according to the installation log, you are installing ATIH 2011 build 6597, but in your post above you mention ATIH2010. The logs shows that Acronis NSB drivers could not be updated properly. I would recommend to contact our Support team directly so that we can do a remote session and sort this installation problem once and for all.
Vincent, the fastest way to resolve installation issues is through a remote session with our Support team.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you.

Anton Hello,
Yes you right I've tried and succeeded installing ATIH 13.0.7106.
I've removed it completely using the KB instructions and some powerfull apps like jv16 PowerTools and Device Remover.
Now when I try to install the ATIH 14 from my user account (admin) again, it's says that the program is already installed in my computer....
When I try to install it from SYSTEM account I get the attached-with install failure log file.
I've installed some "stony" applications before but not something like this one :-?

Succeeded.
Assuming that you have Admin rights or belong to Admin group do the KB (remove all Acronis apps) and install ATIH 14.0.6696 just for the current user.
Apparently there are timntr.sys reg keys in numerous CurrentControlSet(s).
