Backup task execution failed

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I have a backup schedule which runs everyday when the PC starts and I Login.

For the past few days I receive an email notification that the Backup execution fails but after wards I receive an email notification that the backup task completed successfully.

Below is the failed attempt to backup. Any help would be much appreciated.

The log shows that you have a problem with the Microsoft VSS snapshot service that is used by ATI for the backup task.

Error 0x101f6: Unable to create volume snapshot

Please download the Acronis VSS Doctor tool (link below) and run this on your PC.  If the tool identifies any issues it may offer you an option to try to fix it - take that option then run the tool again.

Note: you may also need to do a Windows restart to clear some errors of this type.
