macOS 12.1

Is there any one out there in the macOS world who is as annoyed as I am? The last time Apple went from macOS 10 to 11, it took Acronis weeks to catch up. It seems the same is happening again, from macOS 11 to 12. Weeks without back-up or access to files. Before Apple releases an update, they go through many beta releases, precisely so that developers can prepare their software for the release. Many, many do. Acronis doesn't. Bad.

Yes and actually this may be a legal issue so if you want to join together with a few other customers that would be wonderful!

The most frustrating part of this is I bought ATI 2021 perpetual about 6 months ago.  Now I am greeted with a "MacOS 12 isn't supported" every time I open the software and have been encountering issues.

It seems that they have updated the Cyber Protect Home to support it - but I am not paying an annual subscription to backup locally to my NAS.  I went with Acronis because Time Machine was problematic, and I wanted a backup software that could do bare metal restores.  Looks like it's time to start looking again.

That is exactly it. The last time Apple went from macOS 10 (True Image 2020) to 11, the only way to keep up is to pay more money and buy True Image 2021. Now that they've gone from macOS 11 to 12, same thing. To keep up buy this 'Cyber Protect Home Office' thing.

I'd be a little less pissed off if it were just a simple upgrade to True Image 2022...  I'd even consider paying for the upgrade, but that's no longer a thing and they've decided to go the subscription route.

Now I am getting random "Backup is corrupted" messages on backups to my NAS, and have to start over with deleting the TIB file.  With a Windows backup there's a built-in way to repair it, but on a Mac the only option is contact support...  And so far support can't figure out what's wrong with it via logs, so now I need to setup a remote session for them to troubleshoot it.  If they "can't figure it out" I'll be done with it / them.

Doesn’t subscription mean “Continous utilization”. how long are we to wait?
