True Image updating to Cyber * is like Word updating to Powerpoint. If you want word, you want word.
I was debugging a windows crash and realized something called Cyber Protect was at the heart of it. I hadn't been using my system (w10 64b pro) much but realized that I also suddenly had multiple protection services and that True Image was no longer True Image but rather an anti-virus/anti-everything utility which I already have one of.
All I wanted was True Image to make image backups and do some synching and somehow I got this Cyber protect thing on an update. Yeah, I must have been asleep at the wheel not to notice it then (I blame work), but now I have and really wouldn't mind if I could just NOT install the protection stuff and only install the backup stuff. It's the protection stuff that is crashing my system, and without it (I went back to TrueImage 2021 and disabled both their little anti-whatever schemes, it works fine, no crashes and a more functional security dashboard.
All I'd propose is allowing those of us who are happy with our protection schemes to not have to install another one. Is that out of the question? Is there a parallel True Image path to upgrade to for us True Image 2021 users?
Many thanks,
