Offline activation issue for Acronis True Image 2021
I’m having issue trying to activate the product on a computer with no internet connection. Basically I can’t access the side bar to reach the account icon to resolve activation problem.
I’m stuck at the tab to key in license key/ sign in to account, but I’m unable to bypass this tab at all. The error message shown is no internet connection.

Hi,
I tried changing the screen resolution to 1024 x 768 but the side bar still does not appear.
Below shows the screenshot at the activation screen.
The next screenshot shows the message saying to sign in to the Acronis account after entering the product key.
However, I do not have internet connectivity on this workstation. Therefore I'm stuck at this step.
Do let me know how to reach the offline activation option that was mentioned in the KB.

I'm not sure why I can't see a similar display.
I tried all 3 build available for download.
E.g. 39184, 39216 and 39287

Kelly, have you got a license serial number for ATI 2021 that you can enter in the first panel you posted above then click on the Activate button?

Hi Steve,
Yes I have. After entering the valid serial number and clicking on activate, it will lead me to the second screenshot to "Sign In". I can't get past the "Sign In" panel without an internet connection.

Kelly, what type of license do you have for ATI 2021? Only the Standard / perpetual license can be activated offline. If you have a subscription license then it isn't possible without having an internet connection / signing in.

Hi,
It’s perpetual license.
I created an Acronis account, link the license to this account, and downloaded the installation file from there.
i downloaded all 3 builds (39184, 39216 and 39287) and still face the same issue

Kelly,
The kb link you posted has an expandable section to describe how to activate offline, did you expand that section to see the instructions? The instructions there are quite lengthy and there are two columns of instructions that are side by side making it difficult to follow. Windows instructions are in the left column while MAC instructions are in the right column.

Hi,
I did read the KB that I posted and noted that to do offline activation for windows , I need to click on account tab on the side bar. I highlighted in my first post that the side bar did not appear during my installation, and I also supplied the screenshot above to prove my point.
I was hoping someone can come forward to guide me through how to make the side bar appear or bypass the sign in tab which is preventing me from advancing further.
Is the technical support team able to try to do a fresh installation of ATI2021, turn off the internet/ go into airplane mode, and do an offline activation at your end?
It will help a lot.

Kelly, this is a user forum and we are all just users here. You should be able to open a non-technical support case direct with Acronis Support for this offline activation issue as we are not getting very far in helping you.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for taking time to reply my posts.
I contacted Acronis support and the person assigned to my case was unable to help me too. Has been dragging on for a couple of weeks and no solution was proposed.
I will just leave this as of now. Till someone who has overcome this issue can comment on this post.
Just a last comment. I did the installation on Windows 10 20H2.

Kelly, did you click on the Start Trial button on that first Activation screen (I see it in your screen shot). From there you should be able to get the full window and then follow the detailed offline activation described in the KB.
