Screenshot?

Thread needs solution

I am using True Image Home 2011.

I have my backup set to take a screenshot before backing up; however when I go into the recovery area, no screenshot "is available"

Any idea what is going on here?

And, what is the software suppose to take a screenshot OF?

Thank you for your message and welcome to our forum. I will definitely assist you with this.

The screenshot option allows you to manage your backups in a more convenient manner.

I apologize for the inconvenience, but there is a known issue in our software where the screenshot is not shown when you go into the recovery area. At the moment I do not have any information in which update this will be fixed.

As a workaround, please restart Acronis True Image 2011 Home to have access to the screenshots.

I too have this same problem with True Image Home 2011. Rebooting and recreating the backup configuration have not helped. I have been hoping that a fix would be supplied.

I am very surprised that this issue has not been resolved in over two years, (in a total of three apparent upgrades) according to the dates posted here. I too cannot get screenshots. I just purchased the program within the past week or so. Something like this makes me a little nervous about my purchase, as you might appreciate. I have also tried all the suggestions provided to fix the problem. It seems to me that if you can't find a fix you might want to just remove that option from the program. I'm not trying to be insulting...it's certainly possible that there is something here that I simply don't understand.

I think you might have misinterpreted the dates in this thread. The original posting was about 6 months ago, not two years. If memory serves me correctly, the screenshot feature was introduced with True Image Home 2011.
