Boot Media Builder tool - WinPE option doesn't allow inclusion of other Acronis apps, but Linux option does
Why is it that if I use the Acronis True Image 2021 Media Builder Tool to create a Linux-based Bootable Recue Media USB stick I can also include other installed Acronis products such as Disk Director 12.5 and Universal Restore, but If I create a WinPE-based Bootable Recue Media USB stick there is no option to include other Acronis apps?
Also, it would be much better if the WinPE Bootable Recue Media would assign the boot media drive letter to X: or something so that it doesn't alter (in the BRM environment only) the drive letters of the internal hard drive partitions? I know this is only cosmetic during the Recovery Environment, but it's just frustrating.

If you have ATI 2021 then you can use the MVP Custom PE Builder script tool (link below) to build rescue media that will include all installed Acronis applications.
The use of drive X: for WinPE media is common to all such media and is imposed by Microsoft not by Acronis. You will see the same in Windows 10 boot media such as installation media.

Thank you Steve Smith for your help. I apologise for the slow response, my personal life imploded around the end of the year, and as such I haven't had much opportunity to pick this up until recently. I have now successfully used the MVP builder to create a WinPE-based recovery USB stick with all of the Acronis apps on it!
However, for some reason the Universal Restore crashes out with some fatal exception error (I can't remember the exact error now) - it did this after two creation attempts of the boot media, with no extra drivers, parameters, etc inserted, on a basic run through of the MVP wizard. Even after running the Acronis Cleanup Tool to completely exorcise all Acronis products from my system, then reinstalling them all following a reboot. I also tried UR in the Linux boot media, and it worked fine.
Disk Director 12.5 works fine, but it annoys me that DD shows an Acronis Recovery Partition as "Unknown" in the partitions list - I mean, really, Acronis? Really? Isn't it about time this creaky old app got a bit of love via an update/upgrade?
True Image 2021 works fine, although it sometimes is unable to lock the C: partition before a restore operation, forcing me to reboot and try again. This worked after the third attempt when I restored my C: partition image, which restored in under ten minutes! Much faster than with the Linux environment.
Having reimaged my C: partition and reinstalled my Acronis products, I have rebuilt the MVP boot media to try Universal Restore again (I redownloaded UR from Acronis again, btw, for good measure).
Please can you advise a good driver backup tool to use? I've been using Double Driver, but even in Linux, UR complains that the driver store created with Double Driver is missing some files. I'm struggling to find any free driver backup app that's not riddled with adware and has been updated within the last six or seven years.

Geoff, since your previous post back in late 2021, a further MVP tool has been released, this time by BrunoC (in conjunction with Mustang who created the previous MVP Custom tool).
See the new MVP Assistant tool via this link. The new tool now includes a rescue media feature though this does not currently include adding Universal Restore (which I presume is on Bruno's todo list!).

I suggest that you download and use the new MVP Assistant tool using the link provided by Steve. After extracting the contents of the downloaded file to a parent folder you will find two .exe application files there. The application MVPDriverAnalyzer can be used to capture third party device drivers from your system although at this time it would be a manual process. If you have interest in doing this post back here.
