Can't explore backup archive

Thread needs solution

I am a non-techncal user of Acronis True Image Home Version 10.0. I am trying to recover a Word doc containing changes that Word appears not to have saved (even though they were manually and autosaved at the time).

When I go to "Explore Backup Archive" and then select the folder I want to view, the "open" button in the Backup Archive Selection box is disabled and therefore I can't open the files to view them. Does anyone have any idea why this is disabled and what I do to be able to look at these back-up files. This is the first time I've tried using True Image to actually recover/view anything, and it's really frustrating.

Thanks!

Open Windows Explorer and browse to the backup file (*.tib).
Right click on the x.tib file containing the word file.
Choose Explore from the right click menu
Then browse inside the backup file. Once file located, copy or drag a copy of your file onto your desktop or another folder. Once you have a copy, then attempt to open the copy with Word.

Thanks, but I'm trying to figure out why True Image doesn't seem to be working. I have tried searching for.tib files (and .asd and .wbk) with no luck so I've pretty much given up on the file itself. The bigger issue is why I can't open up and look at archived files in general.
