Backing up a backup drive?
I'm using TI Home 2011 to back up a computer to a NAS. I do a full image backup once a week, a differential 4 nights a week, and keep two weeks worth of backups before starting the cycle again. I'd like to have the full contents of the NAS, all the .TIB files, copied to a USB hard drive each weekend so it can be taken offsite. Is there a funcion in TI Home that will do a simple copy of all the .TIB files to another device without packing them all into another .TIB file on the destination drive?
Thanks!

I've tried several of those. For some weird reason, they don't run correctly. I've tried Synctoy and a couple others as a scheduled task, but one or other of the drives seems to disconnect overnight in Vista (mapped drive X-d out, but reconnects instantly when accessed in Computer). I think I've given up this as an automatic task, and will run it manually.
Thanks.

Could that be a power setting that disconnects the network adapter over time?

Thanks, Pat - no, I've disabled hibernation, standby, and any other power-saving options that could be causing the drives or NIC to disconnect, both on the host computer and the NAS. Also, I've installed a little utility that writes a blank text file to each of the drives every 10 minutes (the USB drive firmware will spin it down if idle). I also adjusted the registry settings to prevent the Server service from disconnecting (default was 15 minutes). I tell ya, if I disliked Vista before, I hate it now!
