Cyber Protect Home Office will not backup to connected NAS drive

Thread needs solution

I can see the connected NAS drive in Windows Exploerer. When I try to backup through Cyber Protect Home Office, it does not see the connected drive. The build is 40107.

Dear Arthur Prelle,
Thank you for reaching out. Since you have the latest build installed, we would recommend to contact our support

Arthur,

A more detailed explanation of what you are doing here would be helpful.  The error message in your screen shot suggests a network connection error, are you asked to provide credentials for the NAS when trying to connect/backup to it?

The application needs a secure connection to NAS for backup which means that you will need to establish a user account on the Synology device for backup purposes, have you done that?
