Acronis cPanel

Thread needs solution

Hello,

Is there a way to remove "Restore Account" option from cPanel -> Acronis Backup ? Some of our clients with huge accounts think that it's a magic button and we find the server with a full partition.

I couldn't find a "suggestion box" on the website. If this button cannot be removed, maybe this option will be included in future updates.

 

Also, this fix https://kb.acronis.com/content/69804 doesn't work if cPanel was updated to version 104 or 106 after Acronis plugin already up to date.

we've checked information in our internal sources, there is already a feature request in place for this for cPanel.
The feature request ID is CI-17609 - Config of Hiding Recover Account Button from Customers.

Regarding this issue, we'd recommend raising a support ticket for investigation, so that the dedicated engineers can look into the issue.
