@Jon Fischer, @Paul Lavér, @Gavin Rabie
Dear users,
We have excluded your accounts from the marketing pop-up notifications. Please launch Acronis True Image, click on the Account tab and make sure, that you are logged into your Acronis accout (you should see your email at the top), so the opt out mark, that we've set for you, detects, that it's you and works correctly.
Thank you

Hello neo314,
thank you for your posting! I've requested to remove your account. In the product, please make sure you are logged into your Acronis account (you should see your email at the top), so the opt out mark, that we've set for you, detects, that it's you and works correctly.

Please add my account to the ever-growing "exclude from marketing pop-ups" list. How long is it going to take before Acronis understands that this is not an issue that should be handled on a 'one by one' basis?

Hello Peter,
sorry for the delayed response! Added your account to the list and passed your feedback to the marketing team. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused!

I can't believe I'm having to do this, but please remove my account from your infernal popup campaigns. I've literally clicked 'Decide Later' for the same offer at least 10 times in the last hour. Unreal :(

Please exclude my account. I have purchased Acronis backup software upgrades annually for 8 years and do not need these new, annoying pop-ups asking me to buy it again. Additionally your marketing team might want to automatically exclude the pop-ups from paying customers with multiplle seat licenses.

More than a year later, and the situation is exactly the same, if not worse. And this has been going on "forever"!
I've been using Acronis True Image for a good number of years now, must be around 1|5 years by now. But the constant popups I'm getting are just too much, and it's not like I'm using a "free" product that would somewhat justify ads as a source of revenue. I have never "opted in" for these unsolicited and extremely intrusive advertisements that pop up from software I've paid quite a lot of money for. This is as annoying as it gets, and Acronis needs to get a clue about how this will drive customers away rather than get them to buy additional products. This is probably against the consumer laws in many of the countries Acronis is doing business too. "Opt-out" type of schemes for ads tends to be banned in many countries, many require you to "opt-in" for companies to legally be able to send you advertisements.
Ekatarina, please stop your "marketing team" to stop adding people to some "no ads list", but ask your "development team" to give us an option to permanently disable this bullcrap. I would expect this from "free" software, but not from software I paid a lot of money for.
Like some have highlighted, there use to be a "Do not show this in the future" button on such popup ads, but that was "just for show", it never worked nor did it prevent any pop-ups. So stop pretending that it was just a mistake that this feature was not included in recent pop-ups, it's still not included and it nevener worked!
Enough is enough, I will vote with my dollars and never ever buy anything from Acronis again, period. They obviously look at their paying customers as a group of people that they can constantly pester with unwanted advertisements in the form of pop-up messages from software that we have paid good money for. There is just no excuse or such behavior, year after year after year! :(

Please exclude my account from these campaigns*
* Assuming that this thread is still the only way to actually permanently disable these types of notifications.

Please exclude my account from these campaign, as well, Ekatarina.
+1 for those intending to switch backup software and services providers away from Acronis, due to relentless advertisements that target existing customers.
Additional point: another +1 for those who object to Acronis' morphing a generally-best-of-breed backup solution into a "Cyber Protection" system whose protection tentacles needlessly interfere with other security systems. (My company IT department is new requiring me to remove Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office from my work machines, due to questionable software behaviors that interfere with my company's security software. Watch for my license subscriptions to decrease, as a result).

add me to the list of exclusions. I am not interested in any subscription offerings whatsoever.

Could you remove me as well?
By the way your Ads may actually violate Canadian Law, which requires an unsubscribe option within the message, as well as you have to have a clear opt-in option. The Canadian law does not specify specific methods of communication.

Hi EKaterina, please add me to that list of exclusions.
Thanks,

Please add me to the list of exclusions for in-product advertising.
The fact that I cannot easily (or at all) opt out of this stuff is extremely frustrating.

Dear Jason,
could you please share a screenshot of such an email\pop-up message? There certainly should be an Unsubscribe option available, please see below
If that is not the case, we'll need to report the issue asap. Thank you!

I'm referring to the in-product ads that supposedly I had been removed from once before.

I can't stand the popups.... I close it and 5 mins later its back.. If its not stopped I'm dumping Acronis.

Same! Will be a shame to have to dump 3 year old software I PAID FOR because the popups won't stop. They have interrupted games to pop up this crap. Once more and I think I'm done.
Hope whichever executive decided this was a good idea is happy with themselves.

Please exclude us from this offensive and intrusive marketing on our desktop when running Acronis Cyber Protect.
And, WTF?, we already own the software and yet you're offering discounts on it?

Seriously! It's popping me out of games and making me miss things now as well.
This is how you lose customers, Acronis. This is ridiculous. Someone in your management needs to realize this and change the strategy or push for an actually effective or even a 30-day snooze button or something. This is rapidly becoming adware.

Our requests were ignored by Acronis.
I just got another pop-up, months after my first request here
It’s hard to believe that the Acronis marketing department would make this kind of novice mistake. Rule number 1 in marketing is “Don’t piss off your customers just to make a few bucks.” Acronis has failed.

Dear TomF,
Thank you for posting. We bring apologies for the repetition of the pop-up; we will check everything and be back to you as soon as possible.

I have a perpetual license for Acronis True imager, and I'm using it to make backups of my drives to my NAS. This works perfectly, and I do not need any further functionality. However, it is extremely frustrating that I get marketing popups about upgrades & new products, multiple times a day. I am not interested and I do not want ad's in a product I paid for!
The worst thing is that there is no way to opt out or disable the adds in the settings! Please add an option to opt out and disable these anoying popups

This ads are absolutely inappropriate for a paid version.
Delete this feature completely.
It is sillt to ask our email address to be processed to avoid this spam.
Exclude me too as soon as possible please.
Thank you in advance

Hi Ekaterina,
Please add me to the removal list.
Ditto what everyone else has said. Thanks,

Hi Ekaterina,
Please add me to the removal list.
It's amazing that a forced ad feature with no way to disable was thrust on paying customers. I would pass on the suggestion that retooling of the marketing department be undertaken as soon as possible to prevent future blunders such as this.
Regards,

Please remove my account from these advertising pop-ups. I have purchased Acroins True Image and it it good enough for my purpose. I donÄt need new functionality. These pop-ups are only anoying and get me upset about Acronis and the product True Image.
Thank you in advance

The pop-ups have started again, in spite of having been told "I'll notify them to omit you."
Clearly, the company management is dysfunctional. Or their code base is so flawed they have no way to easily omit us. Or the company is has decided to ignore our requests.
And clearly, they are unaware of the power of social media. Each post on Twitter or other sites that reports this total failure by Acronis undoes many thousands of dollars of advertising. And once the stink is on a company, it'd difficult to wash off.

Hi, please add me to the "no popups" list as well. My account info matches my profile. This "post a request on the forum" is a lousy customer experience.

Hello Everybody!
Please refer to the KB regarding the pop-ups and adds in the software:
Open the notification (by clicking on Learn more when the notification appears) and check Don't show again box.https://kb.acronis.com/content/57373
We have noted your feedback and forwarded to the corresponding team.
Thanks in advance!
