Win 7, 64 bit, System Clean-Up utility freezes
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. All updates for Windows and ATI2011.
The system clean-up utility hangs (freezes).. It does say it scanned the system and found 5631 items. When I click to change the Clean-up settings or anything it freezes.
I need to use task manager to shut it down or if left for a few minutes it will shut itself down.
Task manager says the program is not responding.
Any advise.
Thanks

The program does not respond for a few minuites and then it shuts itself down.
If I check the Task Manager before it stops it says that the "program is not responding".
Can I remove and re-install only that portion of the Acronis suite?
Is there a file that I can send to show what is happening during this self shut down?

Hello Ken,
I appreciate your response.
It is not possible to re-install just the clean-up utility but you can do a repair install of the whole program. It does not take a lot of time. Launch the installation file and select to install. You will then be prompted to either repair, modify or remove it. Select to repair installation and reboot your computer after. Please let me know if it helps.
If there is no improvement please contact our Support team with these logs so that we can investigate and resolve this issue:

I am running Windows 7 x64 Utltimate and I have run into the same Acronis Software BUG as Ken. When I select 'System Clean-up', it quicky scans my files and tells me it found 3,874 of them. Nothing else works after that and it just closes that window, all by itself. I have emailed in my AcronisInfo system report.
I'm geting somewhere with this. After unplugging the 1gb USB drive I use for backup storage, I was able to expand the options tree and restore the defaults and System Clean-up now appears to be running, maybe hung. The window now displays 'Operation status'
Scanning items to process...
A progress bar that is not changing
A checkbox to optionally shut down when the operation is completed(unchecked)
At least it started and has not yet shut it's own window down. I only have about 25% of free ram left of my 4gb. It looks like it's just hung and will never come out of this. I'll give it another hour before I give up.
