BSOD when ATI 2020 is running after Windows update

Thread needs solution

I updated windows 11 to the latest H22 version. After doing this I tried to create a full disk image. The process started and within a minute I got a BSOD. I tried again and the same thing happened. I went back to my previous version of windows and ATI ran fine and backup was completed. Any thoughts on this and possible causes & remedies?

Martin, I have not seen any other users reporting any similar issues with ATI and Win 11 22H2, and I have not experienced the same with my own systems that I have upgraded to the same?

After upgrading Windows it is normally necessary to reselect the Source drive / partitions due to the partition GUID changing, but that would usually give a 'No partition found' type error rather than a BSOD.

I have two systems running Windows 11 which have not experienced this problem. You could try repairing the installation of ATI 2020 - see here.

Thanks for the replies and apologies for the late response. I didn't receive any notifications that anyone had replied.

I will try the update again when I feel brave enough and see what happens
