Acronis CP sending data to Google Analytics
Just noticed using Task Manager that my Acronis CyberProtect is using Google Analytics and apparently send data to it which has me greatly concerned. Please let me know how to disable this feature and also more detailed information when this started and how you obtained the approval from us users to do so (I've opted out on sharing customer data etc everywhere I could within the program on online). Thanks.

Thanks for responding. I just found this out by a fluke, but you are probably right. I believe that according to GDPR, Acronis would need consent for this as well as providing a way to opt out (or actually an active opt in) to do this.
Perhaps Acroins would like to provide some information here?

Hi,
Thanks for responding. I've been waiting over a month for an actual reply to these questions now so forgive me if I am starting to loose hope of Acronis ever responding to this. Or perhaps I should correct myself, by now your customer service have responded that you use GA, that you don't use GA and never has and finally that you do use GA but only for non personal stuff. That confusion in itself has me worried noone really knows what data you collect and how it is handled.
Ironically, these forums also seem to use GA even when you have actually said no to it.
Seems like there is room for improvement here...
