TI 2011: shedulers etc.

Thread needs solution

Hello.

I used TI 2009 for about 1.5 years and now i bought TI 2011.

I' am disappointed =(

It is made for novice users who doesn't want to see all processes and spell their time to advanced configuring the backup system. TI 2011 looks like a cool picture, but not like a big powerful program for someone who wants to protec his PC.

there was a useful calendar in ti 2009. in which were mark the days when backup was done/undone or will be.

How can I schedule a backup processe to start TWO TIME A MOUNTH EVERY SATURDAY for example? it's important for me.

I could do it in TI 2009...

Thanks and sorry for my english, i haven't practice it for a long time

Karpo,

You will have to use the Windows Task Scheduler and call ATI.

I have ony one question now about windows scheduler:

Will it start automatically later if my computer was turned off at time when scheduler had to start?

like it did TI2009.

for example I made scheduler to start every saturday at 4:00. my PC is off at this time. When I turn it on on monday TI2009 starts this missig scheduler.

Thanks.

It can wake up a sleeping computer. If you computer is shut down, you might have a way to wake it up from your BIOS, although not all computers have this feature.

I don't want to wake up!

I want to start automatically next start of PC when scheduled time missing.

In Win7 and Vista, in the task properties, on the settings tab, you have the option to run the task as soon as possible if the schedule is missed.

This probably answers your problem (case of a missed schedule)

Sorry but this is a major bug of the scheduler.
Creating a manual task to wake up the PC is a workaround (thank you for it).

I hope they fix it very soon as it makes scheduling useless
