Heavy lag in Acronis 2010

Thread needs solution

Hello, I have been experiencing this problem for the last few days.

I have Acronis 2010 with PlusPack, build 7.160.

There are certain actions which, when performed in the TI gui, cause the whole pc to lag heavily, almost to the point of freezing. This is caused most of all by clicking on the Tasks & Log button. When I click it I have to wait until the task list comes up, because the pc becomes unusable for about 30 seconds or more.

Is this a known issue, is there a workaround?

My pc is a core i7 with 6Gb ddr3, so it can't be a performance issue. Also, it never happened until about ten days ago.

I've checked all our internal resources: there are no issues reported that would match your description. So the situation requires investigation. Could you please gather the below information: 

  1. Acronis Info from the problem machine
  2. Procmon output

If it's not the case, please gather Acronis Info, submit a case with the information attached, and let us know it's number.

Thanks, actually the issue has somehow disappeared so I can't record it with Process Monitor. I'll see if it happens again and use AcronisInfo and ProcessMonitor as you instructed.
