Task 'FUL backup' has failed on machine

Thread needs solution

The VM reservation fails with an error. Rebooting didn't help. Shadow copying is disabled on the VM.

I have error 12293 in the windows log. According to the reasons from your link, it says there is not enough memory to create a shadow copy. But the shadow copy is freely created in manual mode.

These errors mainly relate to VSS providers instead of VSS writers. So, on the VM that has the VSS error, please run the command in CMD: "vssadmin list providers" to check if there's an error.

If a provider is missing from the list of registered providers, try reinstalling it.
