Connected to Mac, dragging causes crash

Thread solved

I have version  1.1 (24782) on a Windows 10 system

Connected to a Mac running Sonoma 14.0

Anytime I try to drag an icon/shortcut, Acronis crashes. with the attached error

Using the mac directly works fine.

As you can imagine, this is a bit of a pain

Can anything be done?

Let me know if any other info is needed

Hello!

Make sure your local A.Virus isn't blocking the app: https://kb.acronis.com/content/36429 .

Check your event viewer to see what's the exact error code.

Also try to run the program as administrator when you click at the icon.

Please note those issues should be investigated by our support.

I suggest you to raise a ticket with our support at https://kb.acronis.com/content/8153

Best regards.

Hello Jonathan,

There is a known issue with Windows version of Acronis Cyber Protect Connect crashing when dragging a file in a Finder window. We're now getting ready to release version 1.2 that includes a fix for this among others.

If you need a fix as soon as possible, please raise a support ticket and we will provide you a pre-release build so that you're more comfortable while waiting.

Thanks, but as mentioned by @Anna Pospelova in the first reply, it was a known issue, and the recent update did fix the problem.
