Unable to create bootable media
I recently installed Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (Build 40729) on two laptops. One is a new Windows 11 laptop, the other is a one-year-old Windows 10 laptop. I had no issues installing the software and creating a back-up of each to an external HDD. The problem is when I try to create the bootable media (rescue disc) to USB thumb drives, the software seems to stop working on "Looking for drivers"
I have been an Acronis user a long time and had no issue creating the media for my desktop system, though that was a few builds ago.
Has anyone else had this problem and found a workaround? I have submitted a ticket to Acronis support but have not heard anything back yet.

I had no problems creating the WinRE (not WInPE) version for WIndows 11.
Make sure you have all WIndows updates current.
You can also first try:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Then
SFC /scannow
But I am not sure about WIndows 10.

Gerald, the core issue here is that Acronis is looking for graphics drivers which it does automatically when using the 'Simple' option for creating rescue media.
You can get around this by using the Advanced option in the media builder, choose WinRE for the media type and deselect any additional drivers.
