Two Separate Single-Version Full Backups: Do they overwrite each other?

Thread needs solution

I have set up two separate backups: one to run on Mon Wed Fri and the other to run on Tues Thurs Sat.

In the setups, I've created two different backup names for these two backups:
FullBackupMonWedFri
and
FullBackupTuesThursSat

They're both set up as Single Version backups. Sometimes it looks like they've both run after a day or two, but then one of them disappears. Or, it turns out that the status status screen claims that one has run but the other has "not backed up yet."

In one case when I looked on my external 1TB hard drive, I saw the .tib file matching the name of the backup that the status claimed HADN'T run, and no .tib file at all for the one it claimed HAD run. I've doublechecked the backup settings over and over, verifying that the one that's scheduled to run on MonWedFri is indeed named FullBackupMonWedFri and the one that's scheduled to run TuesThursSat is indeed named FullBackupTuesThursSat. Wouldn't I expect this to result in two separate .tib files (after a day or two), one named FullBackupMonWedFri.tib and the other named FullBackupTuesThursSat.tib??

So now I'm beginning to wonder: does the system only allow ONE instance ever of a Full Single Version backup? I.e. Even if I run these two separately-defined backups on different days with different destination file names, it always DELETES *ANY* previous Single Version backup that ran and replaces it with just one instance of the latest Full Single Version backup?

Jan,

I guess you are storing the backups in the same folder.

Store them in different folders and that should take care of the problem.
