Before I start flaming Cyber Protect, must know why I can't do full images from boot USB
I've been a loyal user of TI since its inception and all the way up to TI 2021. So last week I bought "The Latest" AKA Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office and therein started all my problems!
First of all I don't do anything CLOUD, so that option is off the table. I've ALWAYS done Full Image backups booting from the boot USB that the software allows one to me. It (WAS) fast and easy, efficient and with minimal keystrokes.
Well in this "new" version that functionality is gone! Yes, I can still boot from the USB boot disk but when I try to do an Image Backup my C:\ is nowhere to be seen!! The only drive available/seen is the boot USB drive and nothing else. I tried creating a boot USB with Window ME and with Linux... same problem.
Called Customer Support and they told me that I could do an Image Backupit via the "Backup" option and selecting my USB 1TB external drive as the target . I'm in that process right now but it's been running 1:20 hours and still hasn't finished. The "old" way would take about 25 minutes with Validation!
Is there a way to create a boot USB that will recognize my C:\ drive and allow me to to Image Backups like I've been doing all these years???

You say "I tried creating a boot USB with Window ME and with Linux... same problem." If your operating system is WIndows ME it is not supported. You need Windows 7.1 or later, or Windows Home Server 2011.
