? FULL support for Bitlocker ?

Thread needs solution

Used ATI Home 2010 for over a year. You have features I need - full restorable backup and continuous backup is great. Now my company has mandated Bitlocker on laptop and external hard drives. Discussions on the forums show that my backup procedures are ruined.

** I WOULD BE HAPPY TO BUY THE UPGRADE TO ATI HOME 2011 *IF* YOU HAVE IMPLEMENTED FULL, TRANSPARENT SUPPORT OF BITLOCKER. **

What is full, transparent support of bitlocker?

Bitlocker is a "low level" disk encryption scheme of the more expensive versions of Windows. Once turned on, it's presence should be essentially transparent to the windows user. However, disk imaging presents some problems. I think he's simply asking if ATI 2011 is compatible with this encryption scheme or if special actions have to be taken for backups or restores or both.

As recently as ATI 2009, it was not, speical actions had to be taken:

I don't know the answer to the question but it seems like a straightforward one that has been addressed by Acronis for prior versions of ATI.
