ATI2011: Please separate task list from found backups. Do not search at all for backups on my harddisk.
In ATI 2011 the task list is mixed with backups that are found by ATI 2011 on my hard disk (e.g. D:\old_backups\C-System.tib). Of course you don't call it task list anymore, you call it "My Backups" now. Please offer a separate task list again as seen before in all ATI versions before ATI 2011.
Mixing tasks and (old) backups is quite confusing and it disturbs me. I don't want that ATI 2011 scans my harddisk for some backups that I archived elsewhere. This has to do with my own file organization. ATI 2011 should not care about it and should not search for it.
Please remove this "feature". In former versions there has been a task list which was easy to manage and to configure. There is nothing against it to have a second list where found backups would be listed for those people who are not able to organize there files on their hard disk and need this function. But please: Separate those two functionalities and let this function be configurable.

please update this with current status. I refuse to install ati 2011 until this is implemented. I installed it once and hated the fact the product feels the need to scan all my hd's looking for backups, tries to do "non stop", and makes it almost impossible to set up scheduled tasks as in previous versions. For those that prefer to be in control of their own destiny devise a scheme that allows an expert option with full manual control.

Fwiw, you can disable nonstop by rightclicking My Computer in Windows, selecting Services and applications, Services and then rightclicking on the Accronis nonstop backup service and selecting the property Disable. That turns it off for good, or until you reinstall ATI.

As a workaround, you temporarily hide your existing TIB files in a hidden folder. ATI will not find them. Give ATI plenty of time to scan your disks. I have a disk with thousands of ZIP files and it takes for ever.
Once it is done, you can unhide your TIB files if you want.
