Vote: Do you like the new version 11?

Thread needs solution

I recently updated to version 11 of True Image Home and I have to say that I hate it! Theres no logic or order to the menus and its confusing to use. I would roll back to version 10 if I could but some of my backups I can't tell what version they were made with.. so this is not good! If anyone likes or dislikes this version lets voice our opinion...

Thank you.

Are you talking about True Image 11 or 2011?

ATI 2011 has been out since last year and is hardly new.

True Image Home 2011.

If its hardly hardly new where are the updates?

ATI 2011 is the current version, nad the one most liekly to be a new expereince for user. ATI 11 is four versons old. I'm pretty sure he's talking about ATI2011. ATI11 had a very straightforward user interface and ATI2011 is known for being, well, different in that regard.

Version sequence:
ATI8
ATI9
ATI10
ATI11
ATI2009
ATI2010
ATI2011

Anyone know if rolling back to the 2010 version will cause problems reading backup images i've made with the 2011 homebody version?

Thanks

2010 doesn't support restoring TIB files created with the 2011 version.

Thats great ... Hate the 2011 version. Especially when you are presented with the backup drive selection within a scroll window thats so small that its a pain to find your attached drives. The 2011 version blows. I've never hated a design so much before. Man it sucks. Sucks its hard...

David,
If you revert to the prior 2010 version, one restore option is that you still can use the Rescue CD from the newer 2011 version should you need to restore a file or backup created with the 2011 version.

Here's the compatibility chart:
http://kb.acronis.com/content/1689

On all my machines, whether running ati10, ati1 ati2010 or ati2011, I use the at2011 bootCD.

I have a feature request for the new 2011 home version. The software should ask you when continuing a backup with the same name as an existing backup wether or not to over write it or make it an incremental backup? A backup I rather not have lost it over wrote.. not good..

Just uninstalled and removed Acronis 2011 home from my system! Will be rolling back to 2010!

PS: Might just upgrade to a better version if the price is right.
