Acronis Snap Deploy Agent does not detect HP Elite 8200 SFF network adapter

Thread needs solution

I have been booting HP 8100 Elite SFF desktops with the Acronis bootable media CD and using the Acronis Snap Deploy Agent without any problems. Today I received our first HP 8200 Elite SFF desktop PC. Sadly the Acronis Snap Deploy Agent does not detect the network adapter. The adapter is working (Link LED orange, Data LED blinking green). I downloaded the newest bootable media, but this didn't help either. Can you help? Thank you. Regards, Tim

Hello Tim!

Welcome to our Forum, we're glad to greet you here, and will be happy to guide you.

I am very sorry for not being able to provide you with updated bootable components because we have changed our process since the latest build (3470).

To resolve this issue please contact our Support team with the report collected from the bootable media.

If you have additional questions please let me know.

Thank you.

Hello, we are trialing Acronis Snap Deploy for our organization. We have HP Elite 8200 CMT desktops here and I can't image them because the network card isn't recognized.

Is there a resolution to this issue or should I recommend to my boss that we abandon Acronis as a potential imaging solution for our organization?

Hello all,

Thank you for your posts and your valuable feedback.

To resolve hardware issues related to Acronis Snap Deploy 3 I would recommend to collect this report from the bootable media and contact our Support team directly.

Please make sure you are using the latest 3501 build.

I would really appreciate if you could get back to me in case you have additional questions.

Thank you.

My Elite 8200 detects the network drive, but it is not accepting the hard drive. I get the "unsupported hard disk". I have been waiting for almost 3 weeks for Acronis to help me. This is ridiculous. If anyone out there has an idea, please let me know. I cannot upload the new master image so that I can deploy these systems. When I was evaluating Snap Deploy Acronis support was right there, now that I need help I am left out there waiting.

Hello Anthony,

Welcome to the forum and thank you for posting. I will definitely help you with resolving this issue.

First of all I would like to apologize for the inconvenience and I would like to assure that I have forwarded your case to our Management team. We will get this problem addressed ASAP.

I would like to clarify something, if I am not mistaken, you are using ASD 3 Master Image Creator on an EFI partition? If this is the case, ASD3 does not support EFI partition. I would recommend taking a look at ABR11, this is our latest corporate recovery software and it has EFI support. Please take a look at this KB article for additional information.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

Hi there,
first post so hope right place and all.
We are using Snap deploy with pxe over network.
I am having problems with the HP 8200 elite ultra slim PC as well. When making an image for XP SOE. As soon as I select SATA Emulation mode in bios to *IDE mode* Acronis (3501) cannot detect the HDD (error: E000101FA: Acronis Master Image Creator has not found any HDD). When deploying an image snap deploy just hangs when PC is in IDE mode (bios).
When I change to AHCI mode for W7 OS everything works. Can create image and deploy an image.

Need urgent solution.
Cheers Ollie
