Failled backup plan not updatable and not removable

Thread needs solution

Hi,
Since the last week, I had a complete backup task blocked and I've stopped the job. After that, the complete backup job isn't in the plan list. Now I try to update or remove the backup plan, but the buttons update and remove are disabled.

There are two big questions for me :
1. Why the complete backup job is gone ?
2. How can I remove this failed backup plan ?

Thank you for finding time to report about the issue, I will be glad to help you with it!

It looks to be some Scheduler glitch, when the task traces in the registry are corrupted. In order to resolve the issue, please do the following: 

  1. Update Scheduler as mentioned in this article
  2. Download Acronis Scheduler Manager. Open command prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd); run schedmgr.exe and issue the following command:
    task zap
    This will erase all traces of the tasks.
    In case you need to remove just one task, please follow the below instructions: 
  3. Run schedmgr.exe and issue this command
    get list
    It will provide you with the list of tasks you have
  4. Find the one you need to delete and enter the following command:
    task [task_number]
    This will get you to this task menu
  5. As soon as you are in the task menu, enter
    Delete
    and the task will be removed
  6. Reboot the machine
  7. Recreate the tasks

The command line operations were done and I restarted the acronis server too. I did that before to post on this forum.
Ok, I try once again. But I update the BR10 with the new update first.
