Incremental backup not working with Acronis 2011 version

Thread needs solution

Using File Backup I backed up my folder on external drive with only encryption mode set.
First backup file created is 1.8 GB.

Subsequently I ran Acronis again on the same folder but it created same size backup file with same password settings.
I tried 3rd time too.
Why isn't it creating the incremental version?
Also why does Nonstop backup(which I don't want) automatically starts up in the notification area?
I just don't want this nagging Nonstop window or icon in the notifications.

Anurag,

Can you post a screen capture of your backup list?

Pl. see the attachment. Also previously I had worked on Acronis 9, so I'm expecting in terms of v9.
Where is the option to select the original tib file from which incremental backup will be created? All it asks is the folder name as you see in the file dialog.
Also how do I stop this nagging Non stop backup? I don't want it. When I reboot the PC it automatically starts up. How to do permanently disable it like uninstalling it?

Anurag,

With 2011, there is no such thing as "adding" an incremental to an existing TIB files. In 2011, backup tasks are set up as Full, Incremental OR differential at creation time. Then, a full backup is firs created, then the following backup depend on the definition.

If you have a non-stop backup in your backup list, just delete it from the Operations menu link. You can also disable the non stop backup service from services.msc.
