nonstop-backup

Thread needs solution

Hi,
I am using nonstop-backup and it is working fine, gratulation to Acronis.
The only question is: There are always observed complete images? when defining folders and files as exceptions what happens: Are these folders only not written to my external drive or should the complete perfomance of the computer also be less slowed down?
Thanks for help

I don't think it makes any difference to the computer performance if you define exceptions to files and folders to be backed up. The high CPU usage and possible slowing down of the computer will be the same.

It seems to be the indexing part of NSB that causes the most CPU usage, though it is still quite high whilst it 'remakes' the image slices.

I haven't tried it to an external drive (only an internal one), but I suspect the USB or NAS system will cause it to slow down even more.
