Bootable media hangs after BIOS-Update

Thread needs solution

I flashed a new Bios for my MSI 870A-G54. I tried to do a backup. Acronis loader starts, OSS let me choose Acronis, welcome screen appears and goes away, cursor blinks for a few seconds and then I have a blank screen. I must restart my machine. What can I do?

You will have to contact Acronis support. This is an issue with the Linux version of ATI that is on the CD.

We are kindly asking you to purchase a support license.
No, I do not.

Huh! Well, you have the option to create a BartPE disk (if you have XP installation files handy). Or you could buy the Acronis Plus Pack and get to build a WinPE disk. Both BartPE and WinPE are based on Windows drivers so you have a better chance of getting it to work.

I had a problem once with difficulty loading the CD. I can't recall now exactly what was going on but try resetting the new BIOS to its default values and see what happens. I think this fixed my problem. I think for my BIOS F2 did a reset but yours might be different.

Thks.
I tried all hints. But i went back to my old BIOS and everythingl is ok.
