ATI home 2009 backup date not found - further discussion
I tried all the steps to fix this error including updating the scheduler.
I did not even know I had this problem until I checked the log and found out there were 50 backups in a row that showed this error.
My further discussion is regarding the validity of the backup with this error occuring. I have not had to do a restore so do I need to worry about this or just ignore it?

Well, I tried the new task method and placed the old one in the unscheduled. The scheduler update failed and now this did not work. I still get the error followed by "operation has succeeded.
Any ideas what to try now? For my old XP system TIH 2009 is the best choice. I tried 2010 and had nothing but trouble so prefer to keep 2009 version.

Would you mind posting a couple log files from both the new and the old backups. There is no personal data in them.
Did you perform any validation of the old files when booted from the CD? Most likely, the files are good but you still need that validation for one more step of assurance.
When you set up the new task, did you choose the option to create a new backup archive?
You may also want to consider doing a repair install which is restart the install file which is the he most recent download file available. Once you restart the install, it will offer you the option to repair which will overlay the downloaded file overtop the existing installation.

Please be patient with me. I am not sure how to send the logs. Would you please help me.
I have a file called acronisreport.exe, is that what I use?

You have a folder named logs which is inside the path below (most likely). Maybe use the dates as a guide or look inside the file using notepad. Each listing is a separate log file for each backup.
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Logs\
To attach the log file, click on the "File attachments" listing at the bottom of your window where you write responses to this thread. This is located just above the "save" your comments option.

First I will answer your questions in the 6-27 post. I did a manual validation of the old files and later the new file.
I did not check create new backup, I checked add to existing. All of my backups are set up to validate after each backup.
I am using a backup setup that is a bit unusual. I have it making a full backup every day and keeping just three backups at all times. I will look back to previous posts I made and see if I can find the procedure as it was recommended to me. I does indeed work.
Here are the logs you requested.

Richard,
The logs file indicates a consolidation issue. I believe this is an error that will exist as long as the same settings exist.
As I suggested in my first post, I would start fresh with a new task but start with a new full (as shown in post #3 picture) in a new folder with a new backup name.
Good luck with your backups. If I can be of any more assistance, post back.

Thanks for all your efforts Grover, the only question I have is concerning the value of the backups. Do you see any problem with just ignoring the error or does this affect the usefulness of the backup?

Richard,
No one can accurately answer that question without performing some actual restores from a couple of the files.
The best test would be a full restore to a test disk or a minimal test would be to restore or copy a couple files from the actual backup to a new folder. Most likely, as they passed validation, there is no issue but it is something I would prove rather than assume.
