Moving backups
I apologize if this is an FAQ, but I didn't find anything relevant.
I'm trying to move my backups from one drive to another. I was able to move two backups that I had stopped using and had already been consolidated down to one .tib each.
Then I tried to move stuff created by my current backup task. It looks like it moved xxx(1) (that had been consolidated) and xxx(2), but it didn't move xxx(2)2, xxx(2)3, and so forth.
It also didn't touch xxx(3) and its descendents at all!
If I try Operations... Move... it goes through the motions of letting me choose a destination, but then it pops up a small window that disappears before I can read it, and that's all that happens.
What am I missing? Is there any documentation that would help?

Well,
I moved all of the .tib files out of the way (or rather, I though I had), and then I deleted each of the backups displayed on the main screen. I'd forgotten that I had already moved some of the backups successfully, so those were synched up and deleting the backup deleted the .tib files.
In any case, when I tried to delete the backup that hadn't successfully moved TI complained that it couldn't find all of the files.
TI crashed on me twice, so I'm concerned that my database might be well and truly hosed at this point. Now that all of the backups are gone, so far as TI is concerned, is there any way that I can that I can test or rebuild the database?

You are fine. ATI complains when you delete a task and it cannot find the backup files, it does eventually crash. No worries.
At this point you can create new tasks.
If you want, you can uninstall ATI, reboot and reinstall. But that shouldn't be necessary.

I found the "database" in
C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Database
(Win7 64-bit). It's a pair of XML files, and they look both well-formed and empty. I guess I'm okay to start over from scratch.
I'll browse for the backups I do have, and rebuild my task from scratch and start over.
