You would need to contact Acronis Support and see what they're willing to do for you.

I too am having this same error. I was given an Acer Aspire 1410 Netbook for Christmas. My Son and I purchased this Netbook Edition and this error comes up. I want to make sure my files are backed up before we leave for a trip. My son is always on my butt to backup my computers. Why is it that this Netbook can't get Netbook edition installed? It has a Celeron SU2300 Processor in it. Not the typical Atom processor, that most netbooks I see. It because it's a Dual core? This machine was made in Sept 2009. This netbook model should be in a white list or something. Please help me.
I have Asked the installer to check for updates, and none are found.
OS: is Windows 7 Home Premium
I Guess i will have to call support tomorrow, as they won't take calls now.

Hello all,
I will do my best to help you and resolve your issues with Acronis software.
Daniel and Linny, I am really sorry, but Acronis True Image 2010 Netbook Editions will install only on several netbooks. You can find hardware compatibility list at this KB article. If your netbook is not on the list, I may recommend you to contact Customer Service and request a refund for your purchase.
We will improve our software to make it compatible with more netbook models.
Please let me know if you need any further questions.
Thank you.
