TI 2011 B6868 fails authentication
I'm attempting to BU to a RAID drive (I've tried all three RAID arrays and a disk that is not in a RAID, all fail with the same error) on my desktop from my laptop. When I click on the browse button to find the target I get prompted for a userid and password (authentication). When I click the test connection button it fails. In Windows explorer I can browse to the desired location (folder), add and delete files.
My wife's laptop (Ti 2011, win7 x64) backs up to the desktop without issue.
Both systems have the same userid and password, both are running Win7 x64. The desktop has TI 2012 B4058 installed. This should not make a difference but just in case.

I'm not using Homegroup, BTW from the laptop I can see and update all of the shared drives on the desktop via windows explorer. Basically I have the same setup on my wife's system and TI does not have any problems there.

OK I have no idea what the heck is going on. Tonight the connection worked and I created a version schedule and was informed that anything older than a month would be deleted. This is OK but I did not see any way to change it if desired. Also after creating a schedule I clicked on the backup now and was prompted for the password. This surprised me in that I had already entered the password and tested the connection. I'm still confused as to why TI is prompting for a user ID and password to access the drives on my desktop.

The Outlook BU and my regular nightly BU failed and now other applications are failing (out of memory). I rebooted the system and now I'm forcing a regular backup (this BU is stored on an eSATA drive). Once this runs I'll again attempt the Outlook BU (this is stored on a RAID 5 array on my desktop).

The Outlook BU from my laptop to the RAID 5 drive on my desktop continues to fail. When I attempt to attach the log (220,861 bytes) to this post I get "Validation error, please try again. The file you attempted to upload may be too large. If this error persists, please contact the site administrator." Following are the first few entries in the log:
