ABR10: Very slow transfer speeds.

Thread needs solution

Hello,

With some newer HP laptops (Probook 4530s and Probook 4730s) we notice very slow transfer speeds when making an image over network. Slow in this case are speeds around 700KB/s on a gigabit network. WiFi is turned off and this only seems to happen with network transfers, when a USB drive is plugged in locally the transfer speeds are fine.

Is this a known issue?

Acronis version used:
Acronis backup and recovery 10 build: 13545

The network card is a:
Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller / RTL8167
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168

Hello Frans,

I have the exact same problem with an Asus X71A, same Acronis version (Acronis backup and recovery 10 build: 13545 )

the networkcard is a:

Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller / RTL8169
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_816&subsys_16D51043&REV_02

We have the same problem. Running ABR 10 (build 13545) backup to network location doesn't get above 3MB/sec.

It isn't the network or destination NAS. If I manually copy a large file (> 10GB) across to the same location, from the same PC, using Windows Explorer I achieve transfer speeds of 24MB/sec.

Something is clearly slowing ABR10 down when backing up to network locations. Acronis can you advise?

Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit Controller

Thanks
