True Image 2010 and RAIDs?

Thread needs solution

I've been using True Image 11 for a couple of years. I just installed Windows 7 and decided to look at True Image 2010. One major problem I had with 11 is its inablility to work correctly with RIADs when booted outside of Windows.

My current system is using an Intel ICH10R on-board RAID controller and I have 4 500-GB drives configured in a RAID 0+1. I will also have a second system using the same RAID control but will have only 2 drives in a RAID 1.

Both systems will be running Windows 7 64-bit.

Robert,

I woiuld proceed with caution. I'd also make sure you have a complete backup using TI 11 before you use the Recovery Media from TI 2010. There are issues with TI 2010 and RAID when using the Recovery Media. Please see link below.

Hello Robert Moffa and Dave Emery,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

We do not expect any difficulties with such RAID controller under Windows, since our program just uses Windows drivers to operate. But I'd recommend you to test a CD version just to be sure that it's able to detect your RAID correctly.

Please let us know the results.

Thank you.

Hi Arconis Team,
I have a sever RAID problem:
HP Z800 with Win 7 Pro 64 bit; Intel Matrix RAID Controller and 9.5 driver; RAID 10 (4 drivers 1TB)
1) System stopped -> Blue Screen
2) Backup incomplete
3) RAID degraded or even failed because of TIH 2010
Could you please provide the available solution / patch ?
Thanks in advance
