TI Home 2010 Netbook Edition *New*
Just released today:
Acronis True Image Home 2010 Netbook Edition
From a quick read of the specifications it seems identical to TI Home 2010 other than the price. Does anyone know what the differences are between the two products?

Mark,
There are quite a few differences in the manual. It seems the following features have been removed:
- Try & Decide
- DriveCleanser
- Nonstop Backup
- Secure Zone (can't create or manage it, but can use an existing one)
- Cloning
- Adding a new hard disk
Also, it's been modified to work with the netbook chipsets, lower resolution and CPUs.
Please note that I just did a quick compare so I may have missed some things.

Hmm - I've been running TI2009 and now 2010 on my netbook for a year now. Never knew that I needed a special edition. I see nothing suggesting it is provided on a USB stick at retail, but maybe it is. I do like that it is cheaper than TI Home, not that that matters much to me at this point since I already paid for upgrade licenses for TI Home.

The manual specifies certain Intel Atom and Via processors as "Compatible CPUs." Do you have to have one of these or will a dual-core or older pentium processor also work?

Someone posted that they received a message stating that they couldn't install it when they tried to install it on their notebook. I think the Netbook Edition looks for a netbook and won't install on a normal PC, laptop or notebook.
If you're thinking of trying it, try the trial version first.
