ABR11: sometimes no volumes are shown
I tried to create new backupplans and had now several time the issue that no volumes/drives were shown to be selected. The machines are NOT offline and I checked also on the local machine. Also locally Acronis does not show any drive in such a case (even not the system drive!).
Any ideas why?
Note: on one machine I newver saw drives (but with ABR10 it worked) on othere there are sometimes (don't know the criteria) visible.

Have you tried restarting the Acronis Managed Machine service on the machines you're not seeing drives on? When I've had this problem, if I restart the service and wait about a minute, I'm able to see drives again.

That did not help.
Strange thing I observed is that switching the file based backup the drives are shown (but still not for volum based backup). Could this be related to a service not running (windows service)?

Endurance,
Your problem might be down to one of two things I've noticed.
1. After some Windows 7 updates the link to ABR11 agent in registry gets broken, a repair install doesn't fix this, a modify install has to be used as the repair install doesn't actually see that Acronis Agent isn't correctly entered in registry.
The clue to the above is often you will get a log failure of a task stating that the trial licence period has expired plus mentions of MMS not connecting. Annoying thing here is once this is fixed the logs clear themselves of these entries.
2. Snapman entry in registry loses track of where the file is in sys32 folder.
I've just had this problem myself.

THX - SOLVED - modify installation did it - support suggested repait installation which did not help as you wrote
THX THX THX ;)

Hi Endurance and Colin B
Thanks for sharing your findings and reporting back on the fix, this will come in handy I’m sure ;-)
