Windows 7 home 6.01.7600 crashes creating a backup or starting from CD

Thread needs solution

I installed W7 new on a computer thereby fromating drive C, after this several programs and ATIH2012.When I tried to make a backup of drive C using Acronis (default configuration) on drive D windows crashed with a bluescreen while the program was calculating the amounts of GB to be stored.
When I started and pressed F11 the Acronis screen appeared but after clicking on the Acronis program icon the computer froze. The same happened after booting from an Acronis rescue CD.
You will find my computer data (screenshot) as an attachment.
All previous Acronis versions worked fine on several computers with WXP or W7.

If you can launch Windows now, uninstall ATI 2012, reboot and reinstall.

It looks like you have a Linux driver issue on the bootable media. Download the latest ISO from your Acronis.com account to try. If this doesn't work your best bets are:
- to contact Acronis support so that they can analyze the hardware support issue you are facing, OR
- to buy the Acronis True Image Plus Pack so that you can create a WinPE based recovery CD. This version has Windows drivers.
