TrueImage.exe Application Crashes

Thread needs solution

Not long ago I upgraded to TI2011 (from TI2009). I am a pretty 'simple' user with pretty 'simple' requirements (and understanding).

My system is a 2007 Dell XPS M1530 laptop running Vista Home premium. I run Trend Micro as my key virus/etc. security and pretty much let Windows Update do what it wants to update. I am reasonably careful regarding what I download and run.

My normal backup practice is to, every 7-10 days, run a complete/new backup/archive. I save these to an external, USB attached drive and keep 3-4 prior backups. I don't do incremental backups (just don't have a reason to, that I know of).

This morning I tried to do a backup and got an application crash message from Windows Vista. Here is what it told me.

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: TrueImage.exe
Application Version: 14.0.0.6868

I have now tried to run TI2011 3 times (off a clean boot) with the same problem. My application is up to date (per the Ti -> HELP -> Check for Updates path).

I do not have any known 'system issues' other than the fact that a number of weeks ago, upon boot, I started getting the following failure from Windows. I have run at least one successful TI2011 backup, after seeing this message on boot-up. Message below.,.,

AppleSyncNotifier.exe failed to load the entry point sqlite3_wal_checkpoint from the DLL library SQLite3.dll.

I do run MS Access 2003 as a standalone application. If I am running SQLServer, I am not doing it intentionally. This would appear to be some Apple issue. Other than QuickTime I am not aware of caring about any other Apple products, but I believe that I do have a couple of Apple things that I have never deleted (Safari and probably a few others).

Thoughts on where I go from here?

Thanks.

Hello David,

Thank you for reporting about the issue, I would like to help you with it.

Unfortunately even the information you've kindly provided still not sufficient for finding out the exact cause of the problem, we'll need more diagnostic information. Could you please provide us with the Acronis Info from the problem machine and Dr. Watson Dump file? This data should hep us to localize the cause.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns, we will be glad to help.

Thank you.

I get the following crash but my partition backs up successfully anyway. I just loose the trueimage.exe interface.
