Yes and no. I have a Microsoft wireless keyboard attached but was using a noname USB mouse. But I guess it uses the Mouse drivers installed with the MS Wireless Keyboard/Mouse suite 1000.

Thomas,
If you have a wired keyboard, plug that in and see if the USB mouse works with 2012. All mice should be able to work with the standard mouse HID that is provided by Microsoft as part of Windows. The wireless part though of the keyboard could be the problem.

Thanks, Colin.
I'll try this.
However, I hope that will be fixed soon; such a bug is quite embarrasing for a software that is around for a while.

Hi Thomas,
Just a suggestion : migration from XP to W7 might be the right solution for you.
Since I migrated from XP 32-bits to W7-64bits, many troubles, crashes and so on were fixed.

Thanks for the suggestion. But I need XP32 for hardware compatibility reasons (laboratory environment/equipment). In any case, it says that TI supports WinXP as well, so I expect it to do so as advertised.
